30th Reunion Virtual Programming Series
Session 5: Finding Your "Second Mountain"
The Journey of Actively Shifting Toward Meaning
Sunday, May 7
5:00 - 6:30 PM ET
In his book, The Second Mountain, author David Brooks describes the journey towards purpose and fulfillment. Oprah Winfrey calls it, “that which makes you come alive.” Some of us have been fortunate to find the second mountain early. Some of us still seek it. Many of us, if not all, have experienced moments in our lives where a personal or professional experience has jarred us into a leap away from what we know we don’t want, but without a map toward where to head next. These times are filled with challenges, self-reflection, and growth.
Join us on Sunday, May 7, 5:00 - 6:30 PM ET, for a conversation with classmates Menekse Gencer, Peter Goldey, and Somava Saha, MD MS, as they share their personal journeys during those “hard reboot” moments and more subtle transitions, and how they aligned (or are in the process of aligning) their lives with their values to reach that second mountain.
